Welcome to Lenkaland.

Lenka has spent much of her time on this earth making music to soothe her own heart and hopefully yours. Her early career as an actress spiked everything with a sense of drama. Her education in fine art peppered all with visual expression. Her love of nature began with a blissful early childhood in the Australian bush. Career highs saw her tour the world extensively and perform on live TV around the globe. Her recent entry into motherhood shines a new light on everything. And it all gets mixed up together to form the songs you hear here.

Lenka's 4th studio album, ‘The Bright Side' was released in June 2015.

Lenka's songs have been featured in many global film and TV placements such as Moneyball, Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy, Old Navy and Coke, to name a few. Her work on Decoder Ring's Somersault soundtrack won the AFI for best song from a film. And Billy Crystal once sang an excerpt of The Show at the Oscars, much to her delight.

K-pop fever. It is safe to say that half the world has it. K-pop has been a huge trend which swept across the world in the past decade. Korean dramas are no different. Fans are hooked to anything that has to do with Korean celebrities and the show-biz. Bands like Big Bang, Super Junior, Girls Generation and 2NE1 have held numerous concerts in a long list of countries – continuing to build up the K-pop fever that seems to have possessed the world.

This is why Starhub has presented fans with the MBC Korean Musicwave in Singapore on 16th November 2013. If you have not gotten your tickets yet, it would be best to get it n-o-w. The tickets are selling out fast with price ranges from the cheapest at SGD169 to the priciest at SGD688. The event will be held at the Meadows in Gardens by the Bay.

The official website has also recently announced that Girls Generation's Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun would be the event MC. This event which will feature 14 acts from various groups like Sistar, Shinee, 2am, Kara, 4 minute and FT Island would definitely give fans a performance to remember as one of the most saturated Korean concert held in Singapore. As a standing-only concert in the open-air theater, K-pop fans will be able to sing along with their idols and have their dreams come true.

Gravity World Tour:

After a very successful Australia/Asia tour last year 2014, YouTube sensations Against The Current lead by the ever-popular Chrissy Costanza, will be coming back to Singapore as pat of their Gravity World Tour. ATC has been extremely busy with the release of their 2nd EP titled “Gravity” and bunch of new Single releases including the latest Single “Dreaming Alone” featuring Taka from ONE OK ROCK. ATC has been scouting around for a music label and it was not long that Warner Music's sub-label Fueled By Ramen took noticed.  ATC is now proud to belong to a family of great artists that includes other acts like Panic! At The Disco, Gym Class Heroes, Paramore, Fun, Cobra Starship and others. Just announced that local Singapore band “Sign Of Five” will be the opening act.

The Jungle Giants Reveal Singapore in their Asia Tour Line Up.

The Jungle Giants, a 4-piece band that hail from Brisbane Australia, will be capping off their tour of Asia with a one night only performance in Singapore. The group, who are well known in Australia for their infectious brand of indie rock, will be making their first appearance in Asia. It is their growing legion of fans from across the world that has spurred the band to do a tour of the region, and will also see them play in Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Manila before finishing their tour in Singapore.

Their debut album, 'Learn to Exist', won over Australian audiences, which dominated the airwaves and YouTube with tracks like 'She a Riot' and 'I Am What You Want Me To Be'. Their popularity has seen The Jungle Giants go on to do countless national tours, and has them performing at sold out club shows and festivals all across the country. It is this diligence to reach out to their fans that has seen the band perform alongside the likes of Boy and Bear, Last Dinosaurs, Ball Park Music and San Cisco. 'Learn to Exíst' debuted in 2013 and the anticipation for their latest offering, to be released later this year, is palpable. Media publication, The AU Review has even listed it on their '15 Most Anticipated Australian Records of 2015'.

The Jungle Giants won't be alone either whilst in Singapore, as they'll supported by the talented Lia Mice. Lia is an artist who was recently crowned 'one of the pioneers of experimental rock' by Live and Die in Music, and crafted her unique sound while performing all over the world. Lia has created music that she can really call her own, playing nearly all the instruments in her tracks herself, and then individually reworking each to give her songs a sound that is reminiscent of machines. Her concerts have seen her perform in Tokyo, USA, France and Australia.
